7th wedding anniversary - a documentary

I've become very lazy about posting new things, but this one is fun. We hiked 7 miles to camp on the bank of the Colorado river. Nearby are the Arizona Hot Springs, which we visited (why go to hot springs on a 108 degree day? Not quite sure myself). We had a great secluded camp site, and though we barely made it out alive, it was fun.

Happy Anniversary guys! I'm glad you had a good one. Not totally sure why you spent it hiking and camping though. ;) Just kidding. You guys are great and seem so happy together!

Dan here.

I watched the whole thing. It's like one of those wilderness documentaries. It's looks like you guys had a ton of fun and some cool memories to boot.

Next year, David is going to take you to a 4.5 or 5 star hotel in Las Vegas for $89/almost the cost of what you spent in gas for this trip (Hotwire is the FRAshizzle!).

Keep shooting movies!

Happy anniversary,

Happy Anniversary!
I have gone on that same hike, to those same hotsprings (ladder and all). We camped by the side of the river, like you guys. It is definitely an experience to remember. Gratz on making it out alive!

Just as a side note, when I saw David filling the water from the river in the 70 degree heat, I thought to myself "they have to get out of there *now* to make it back to the truck before the noon sun hike kills them." It almost killed me when I went (we didn't have a filter and we ran 80% out of potable water the night before, and had to ration 1/2 a canteen getting back through the middle of the day).

Man, I should go back there. In the winter.

I think it's so cool that you guys love camping/hiking. I so wish I enjoyed it....if Taylor took me on a trip like this for our anniversary, that would be our last anniversary. Congratulations on 7 years!
